Exchange 2000 backup errors

I am using Bright Store version 9 with the exchange agent and I am getting five files that will not backup.
MDBDataPub\pub1.stm
MDBDataPub\pub1.edb
MDBData\tmp.edb
MDBData\E00tmp.log
MDBData\E00.log
The error type is AW0004.
RC=32, The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

Any suggestions as to what I can do to correct this?

Use the Client Agent, it is designed to automaticly skip these files during the data backup when the DB Agent is running on the same system.
