Hello to you all

I've got my two DNS server's DC1 and DC2 up and running without a problem (sigh of relief). DNS is configured with Active Directory and replication is working perfectly. Forwarder is setup to my ISP, and all clients are able to logon and gain access to the net and shared resources.

Prior to Active Directory, and because of a dynamic DSL account, we ran our FTP server utilizing a free DNS service(dns2go.com). We'd like to continue this service with the addition of email (johndoe@mydomain.dns2go.com). How would I add this service to our current DNS domain? I'm assuming I'm going to have to add another domain to the current one?

Our current internal DNS configuration //mydomain.prv, was so named to correspond with the free DNS service mydomain.dns2go.com. Did I make it easier or more difficult to get this to work?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

As long as dns2go support MX records and is pointing to the IP of your email server doesnt really matter about your DNS configuration.

Thanks chikn for the info. Your answer seems simple enough...lol,
and if I'm reading their site correctly, they do support MX records
and all emails would be sent directly to my Exchange server.

I guess I was trying to make it more difficult than it is.

Thanks again
