I have a database priv.edb which has some errors ( online backup or defragmentation process cannot read some pages, Event ID 116 source ESE97 ) and I must restore form previous backup.
I have previous online backup 6/10/2006 ( dd/mm/yy ) and all transaction logs to roll forward.
On 16/10/2006 I tried offline defragmentation, but without success. Also I started repair proccess ( eseutil /p ) but it didn't finish ( manual interruption )so Database signature didn't change.
But when I tried restore online backup and roll forward all transaction logs since backup everything is OK until 16/10/2006, IS proccess starts OK, then recovery proccess starts and roll all transaction, but any changes in transaction logs after this date are lost.
At the end of recovery proccess event 134 is logged that the database priv.edb was not recovered
I checked signature of transaction logs and database - everything is OK
So What's wrong ???
How I can fix this problem without loss any data ?
