I have recently set up a SBS 2000 with Exchange. Each workstation in my domain is setup to use Outlook to download pop3 accounts and the mail from the interoffice accounts, Exchange Server. Is this bassackwards, to have the workstations downloading all of their different accounts or should the Exchange server be collecting mail from all accounts then forwarding it to the workstations?
I ask this because since the installation of the exchange server I have developed several problems with the pop3 email accounts. Mostly the issue is not being able to send out, but sometimes I can't recieve mail either.
It has to be the Exchange server because I can go home and send an email through the same pop account that wont work at the office running the server.
