Good evening. Just signed up to this site as I have been an avid reader and now need some help.
Having joined my current company this year I have been in the process of getting them into this century and have a question related to how best to move forward.
Being reluctant to spend money the company have sat on their hands and we are now in a panic to move our infrastructure onto a 2003 AD structure and away from the current NT4(yep still running that) before 31st Dec.
This is going well however I have an issue related to our exchange servers which are exch5.5 on NT4.0 servers.
We are working on getting the costs for migration to exch2003 sorted but this will not be complete by 31st Dec and so am looking for an interim solution. I know I can install 5.5 on 2000 server however will this still allow my users to get access to their mailboxes if they authenticate within 2003 AD structure? and what work is required to get this working?
