Exch2003 delay in processing incoming emails

Hi there,

Exch2003sp1 FE & BE both running on w2k3 servers.

On BE, I have 4 mail stores, say A,B,C,D. Internet emails sent to users in A,B stores. User complained that not yet recieved emails while other already received. From ESM message tracking, I found that particular email was received properly at FE then passed to BE then passed to user in A store, then got the delay for about 1 hr then passed to user in B store.

I checked event log on both FE & SE during that 1 hr, there is no special events at all.

So how to find out what is the problem?

How to prevent it happening again?

It's been our experience that sometimes we have to turn off Caching on a users account.
Or change how often the user's account will update with the exchange server when caching.

"turn off caching on user account" you refer to is caching mode?

if so that's a problem for me coz all users are in ol2003 caching mode since we have no local server at all

also can u guide me how to change "user account update with exchange server when caching"?
