I've found articles suggesting they (MS) *recommend* that for installing Exchange 2000, enterprise edition, that you use Windows 2000, advanced server.
If I know I'll never need more than 4 processors on this server and never more than 4G of RAM on this server, nor will I ever cluster this server (limits of Win 2K standard server),
but I will need more than 16G of InfoStore db size (need for Exch 2K Enterprise),
can I successfully/efficiently run Exch 2K Enterprise on Win 2K standard server??
Are there considerations or other limitations???
Advanced server is more expensive than standard server and I'd rather not spend the money if it isn't necessary.
Thanks in advance for any help/ideas...
