Excessive messages on Voicemail Pro

One user is saying that her voicemail light is allways on and when presses her voicemail messages it says she has 67,000 messages (we have visual voice turned on).

She checks and only has a few messages. When I looked into the VMpro her user is showing 67 read messages. We also have a number of other users that seem to have alot of read messages (30 to 35), I guess they could actually have that many but most people delete them before they get to that level.

Any ideas what could cause so many messages and for the alert light to never go off? I am going out to the sight in the morning.

I'm guessing it is a ver 6.0.x talk to your avaya BP it is a bug.

Yes it is Ver 6.0.

Is this a known bug? if so what is the fix?

It is fixed in 6.1

Is there anything that can be done until an upgrade can be done? This user never knows when to check her voicemail as the light is always on, so is missing important voicemails.

If you stop using visual voice that can stop it as it is visual voice that causes the corruption
