I have installed and re-installed SQL Server 5 times and I have managed to finally get it up and running. However I cannot figure out why sqlservr.exe is running about 99% CPU Usage.
I searched Tek-Tips, and Microsoft's Knowledge Base. Someone suggested it might be a virus so I checked Norton's Knowledge Base. No one seems to be having this problem with SQL Server.
My PC VITALS: 1.13 ghz processor, 512 mb RAM, 5.77 gb available HDD space.
I did not have a problem until I loaded SQL Server. I stopped it from coming up at startup and re-booted. Everything was normal.
Has anyone else heard of this problem?
Has anyone else heard of this problem?
Thanks
