I have a mail application that throws a MessagingException. So this can be thrown, say if I do not allow it to log on to the internet. The thing is, subsequent tries yield nothing - it will not log on after that? It seems once this exception is thrown I cannot get it to try again. What is happening?

Can you be specific I wass unable to get anything out of what you were saying??????

Well, my application attempts to send mail. If I am offline, it goes to go online, my dial up networking box comes up. Then suppose I cancel that, and decide not to send it, but work offline, a MessagingException is thrown, by my Transport object.

The thing is, any subsequent tries at sending the mail, do not trigger the dial up, no matter how hard I try.
