Exception to rules - Strict passwords rules

Howdy!

As I am dealing with password setting, rules and restrictions, I am facing another (hopefully simple) challenge.

I have a series of "demo" user IDs which I would like to excempt from having to

1. change password every 90 days
2. having to to comply with Up + Low + Number (8 char len)
password settings

In other words, given user ID demo - I would like "demo" to retain its password "demo" for ever.

How do I go about this?

Check out the usermod man page, particularly the extended options such as passwdCheckedForObviousness, passwdLifetime, etc.
