I have a datawarehouse that has a table with exception records.

Once I fix the records and reload the data what should I do with this table?
Should I truncated it?
Should I keepo the data?

How do some of you handle this?

I would keep it. It is your proof regarding what was corrected and may be required from a Sarbanes Oxley point of view.

In general , I am loathe to delete data. I like having an audit trail of everything that happened to the data from its creation to its archival.

You can keep this exception records or bad data file for some time. It may be for a year or years. Along with this try to keep a note to indicate why it was a bad data since their might be several reasons and also note if you done any changes to that.
