This error occurs when I am running a java application in Windows 10. The main application works fine for both the normal user and the administrator accounts. There is a button to change some preferences in the application that when run as administrator also works correctly, but when run as a normal user breaks with this error:

This is a 3rd party application. I don't have access to the code. I am wondering if someone with some expertise can give me some suggestions as to where to look in order to understand what differences between the 2 accounts may be causing the error. I suspect it is some differences in java configuration, but I know very little.

Thanks,
jm
