exception error in Internet Explorer 7

Every time I close Internet Explorer 7 I get the following error message box:
The exception unknown software exception (0x0eedfade) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812a5b.
When I click OK, I get another box that says:

Runtime ERROR 217 at 0326EAEA
I click ok and everything is fine.

The OS is WinXP home SP2. MediaPlayer 11 is installed. Norton Systemworks 2007. 1GHz CPU 256MB ram. Dell laptop.
Broadband Internet.

Googling the issue comes up with Possible Norton issues, Possible mediaplayer 11 issues, possible IE7 issues, but nothing concrete.

Any ideas?

Looking on the Microsoft site, the threads there indicate this is a bug in Norton 2007
