WE ARE GETTING THIS ERROR MESSAGE ON VARIOUS DELL INSPIRON 8000'S THAT HAVE BEEN GHOSTED. MY MACHINE DOES NOT GET THIS ERROR AT ALL. REVIEWING MSCONFIG (STATIC VxDs) I SEE THAT I HGAVE vserver.vxd LOADED, BUT THE OTHERS DO NOT.

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I remember seeing this error on a ghosted machine. Uninstalled networking, deleted the \windows\options directory, reinstalled networking, worked like a charm. Reinstalling networking includes getting the latest and greatest drivers from the manufacturer for your particular NIC as well, btw.
