I was doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to my computer, had just come home from work in fact and found my Windows98 machine (as opposed to my entirely stable LINUX machine) had a Blue Screen with the following message:

"An exception 0E has occurred at 0028:C02E6000 in VxD ---. This was called from 0028:C009Db88 in VxD ---. It may be possible to continue normally."

This happens quite often, although I don't know if the codes are exactly the same. Can someone tell me what's going on with this and if or how I can fix it? Thanks.

Any solutions to this? We are having the same type of issue

We are having the same problem at work .I need a solution quick. Please help. Can not understand all the fatal errors and/or correct them.

Try going to safe mode and make sure you only have one monitor in the device manager. If there is more than one delete all of them and reboot, windows will find the correct driver.
Let me know if it works for you
