Excell: When entering decimal points ( . )'decimal point' is shown?

Whenever one of our user enters a decimal point into a cell in an Excell spreadsheet the decimal points are shown as written text ie. 'decimal point' rather than the '.' Any ideas? This seems to be specific to this PC as it does not occur when she uses the document from other PC's. Is this a setting?

Look into Tools->Auto Correct

It's probably in the list somewhere.
