EXCEL97-personal.xls opening upon execution?? 1

Hi guys,
I did some coding and saved it in the personal workbook. Now everytime I start Excel, the personal workbook opens rather than Book 1. Where do I change this?

I have looked in the General tab of options and the Properties from the shortcut bar.

Why is this happening?

The PERSONAL.XLS file always opens when Excel starts. The thing is that it's supposed to open as a hidden object. Somehow you must have unset this. What you need to do is go to the Window>Hide option from Excel's menu system. Make sure the current workbook is the PERSONAL.XLS, though. You can also unhide objects this way too. ----------------------------------------
