Excel2007-AutoRepublish (How do I turn-off)?

I have created a spreadsheet that I have "Saved as a Web Page" and selected the Auto-Republish command. Now I would like to remove the command. But there seems to be no way to turn this functionality off in Excel 2007. I have tried to delete the webpage, but everytime the spreadsheet gets saved the webpage is re-created.
