There must be a way of doing this, but for the life of me I can't find it !!!!!

I have a row of populated cells and I want to move these from being in a row to a column down the left hand side.

Look forward to someone giving me the answer.

Two tips:

1) check out Paste Special > Transpose

2) click the link in my signature (FAQ181-2886) for tips on how to submit a question properly. With a subject line like "Excel", you're lucky anyone bothered reading your question!

PremPaul,

I just reread my response and realized that I came off a bit rude. I didn't mean to be.

I checked out your profile and I see that you're new around here. Your questions are welcome. I just meant to point out that, in the future, you might get quicker responses if your header describes your particular problem.

Also keep in mind that all of the folks who answer your questions are volunteers - none of us work for Tek-Tips.

So, did the advice Skip and I posted help you, or are you still having problems?

PremPaul, has your problem been resolved?

Cheers, Glenn.
