Excel w/Format - Numerous Hidden Blank Rows

I've encountered this problems a numnber of times (Impromptu 7.1 MR3) where the Imptomptu/PDF results looks fine. When you export to Excel the output LOOKS correct but there are many blank rows that are hidden by defaults.

IE The data looks correct on the sheet but it's on Row4, 17, 102, 177, etc and everything is hidden and blank if you unhide it.

Any ideas as to the cause of this?

(The Excel files also blow up to 20megs due to this.)

Hi Corgano,

Did you export it into formatted Excel? Other area you need to look into, do you have some detail line included in the report but not in display. i.e. you generated the detail report first then make calculation and made a summary report. If you delete it from the display, you display will look all right but the detail line will be still available behind. You may need to delete unwanted detail line from the report.
