excel vba running on open

i have inherited an Excel spreadsheet that has some VBA to do some formatting of the sheets. this runs on opening the workbook, funny thing is though there is nothing in the workbook_open event. i just can't see what is triggering this to run. is there somewhere else this could be being called from?

it could run from the workbook activate event (though I doubt this is your problem)

it could also be an auto_open routine sitting in a normal module?

it's also possible that there may be a class module and that the application level events are being used.
