Excel to PDF

hey all, newbie here. i'm new to the world of pdfs to please bear with me.

i have a rather large excel file with many hyperlinks in it, that link to other pages within the file. when i convert it to pdf, none of the hyperlinks work, even though they work fine in excel. i have 7.0 professional on windows xp with excel 2000 and i used the pdf make button is excel when creating the pdf. i'm sure i have a setting wrong somewhere. any ideas?
