Excel to PDF conversion problems

This is so strange. When I convert an excel page to PDF, the resulting pdf page is black wherever there was txt or characters in the excel sheet. I can convert word docs ok, web pages ok, but anything in excel turns out this way when converting to pdf.
I've looked at the settings but can't figure out what's going on here.

It might help to post what your using to conver to pdf format (including version) and what version of Excel.

Sorry, forgot the important details. I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro 6.0 and Office 2003.

OS is XP Pro.

Update the adobe acrobat to 6.0.1. This can solve your black screen problem.
