excel to email?

i have a line of code that is suposed to send an email...

ActiveWorkbook.SendMail Recipients:=varRec, Subject:="New"

when this happens it comes up with a message window for outlook to choose a profile... even though there is only one profile, and when i open outlook on it's own, it opens without that window... any idea's?
