I have an Excel workbook produces a dilog box presenting the user with 2 command buttons after the open event. I am planning on having this workbook run at least once a day using a schedule program. Can I make Excel activate one of the buttons/macros if a response has not been recieved form the user in a specified amount of time. I would like to add a message that would alert the user that command button 1 will active in 1 minute. Any ideas?

Hi,

What do you mean by the command button activating? Do you mean that the click event will execute?

Look at the OnTime Method.

Hope this helps :) Skip,

Skip,

I want to thank you. I had hastily gen'd up what appeared at first blush to do the trick. Further testing before sending the workbook on to Craig proved that I was all wet. I admit I went back to the drawing board using your suggestion and was able to make it work. [2thumbsup]

Regards,
Mike
