I used to know how to do this but it has completely slipped my mind. I have to cells ex. a1 and a2. I want time values in these cells ex. a1=5:30 and a2-6:00 now i have a cell a3 a3 that have the difference but i dont need it in the :30 format i need it in .5 format , how do i do this ?

Sorry, make sure format is not time when using that formula otherwise it will save 12:00 not 0.5
