Hi All,

I have some excel data with a text field that I'm trying to convert to a sortable date:

The field contains (ex. "4DEC13, 9:19" "18NOV13, 9:07" 15NOV13, 11:50") and so on for multiple months/years etc...

I'm unsure how to approach this since the day and time portions are not all the same length.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

hi,

Select the column(s) containing this data

Home > Editing > Find & Select > Replace

In the Fimd and Replace window enter a COMMA in the FIND and a SPACE in the REPLACE and then Replace ALL

The REPLACE will coerce a conversion to Date/Time numeric value.

Skip,
