Has anyone had much experience using the Excel Template Wizard to enter data in a database using a custom made template?

Are there any major limitations that you know of? i.e. Does it handle large numbers (thousands) of records? Are there limitations in the number of fields in the database?

Also, do you know of a good reference book that has any extensive information on this tool?

Thanks for your help

Had some use of this tool on Excel97. In my experience, i thas been very good. An exsisting form with cica.50 fields has been converted into a good data entry form. I had problems with different types of filed type - so i used the wizard to import as txt and then exported to another table with the correct field type.

The Microsoft website is your best bet

Hope this helps
