Hi all,

I have an excel form that has various calculations and subsequent percentage formats that I would like to export to a table in an Access Db. Using the template wizard seemed the best way - BUT it imports all the fields as text...is there a way around this.....

or do i need to do something different

Can someone help - this is driving me mad!!!

Mike

nope, i have tried to specify all the cells in the excel s/s with the correct format: number, percentage, text, date BUT it is turning it all to text

I would think you might rather create an import spec file from Access. Or better yet, ask your Q in the Access forum, where others might be more familiar with that template wizard.

Or maybe someone here will help. But it ain't gonna be me!

:)

Sorry I couldn't help more.
