We exported some Excel tables into a large PageMaker document (using copy picture/as shown when printed/creates a windows metafile). When converting the doc to .pdf, the tables shift location on the page, even if we lock or group in PageMaker first. How can we convert to a good .pdf without having to use the touchup tool throughout the doc?

Eileen: According to long discussions in the Adobe PM Forum,
all these transfers by WMF.. are not reliable.
It´s safe to use EPS as a transfer format.
I have no Excel experience. Generally, I would recommend
to save each single table or diagram as EPS.
In PM it can be translated, rotated and scaled.
It cannot be edited, but it´s possible to add additional elements,
also to cover unpleasant text by filled rectangles and to write new text ...
EPS is treated like an image. ----G.Hoffmann.
