Hello,

I am working on what seems to be a simple task but it's been a bit perplexing. I am seeking to place an Excel table on a page in Microsoft Word. I would like for the image appearing on the Word page to be exactly as the table appears when it is printed out of Excel. This isn't happening.

Does anyone have any thoughts/ideas on how this could be achieved? Does anyone know what formatting rules or documentation rules are affecting the translation and end products?

Thank you very much,
ErinB

Dreamboat,

Thank you for your reply and assistance. I tried your solution. Unfortunately, it didn't work for my tables. I very much appreciate your thoughts! :)

What do you mean it didn't work? What didn't work? The formatting? The columns? How did it come in that is not the way you want it to be? Please give more info. Thanks!

I apologize for being unclear! ~

The formatting was incorrect in the resulting paste in Word. That's what I meant! Sorry to confuse.

Thanks!

No problem, bd.

Try selecting the cells. Then, change your (toolbar) zoom to "selection". Save the Excel file. Close it.

In Word, hit Insert-Object-From file and choose your Excel file.
