One several sheets I have a range of six columns and various rows named April_130, May_130, etc. I need to copy that range to another sheet intact which I'm able to do. But I also need to create a summary of all 130s by month so I need to be able to sum the sixth column range April_130.

How?

I've done that before but I thought there would be another way.

On the summary sheet I use the following formula:

{=+IF(ISERROR(April_130),0,SUM(April_130))}

which totals the range of amounts for the month of April but only because I have the specific column I need totaled as the range. I want to be able to include the description, date, etc. in the same range name (April_130) and not have overlapping with additional range names.

I'm looking at the data consolidation page you referred to now to see if I should redo the above formula.
