excel spreadsheet web components interface

I have saved an excel worksheet as a web page but I cannot manipulate the information when I view it in IE. I checked the selection area and added interactivity and stored it in the page_files folder but the only thing it allows me to do is change the width of columns. The toolbar that appears on the webpage is not viable.

Does anyone know what going wrong with this?
