Excel spreadsheet says...

File In Use.
I have a hypertext link on a web page that links to an Excel spreadsheet. Well, when I click on the link the first time I don't have any probs opening the spreadsheet. But when I try to open it a 2nd time it says that the File is in use it's locked by username, then it asks if I would like to view the file Read-Only.

I don't see the spreadsheet open anywhere on my computer. What is going on? HELP!
