Hi there,
I feel sure I read about a 3rd-party product that I can use to do this:

I design a html/asp form where user can indicate what fields or columns she wants selected. Browser submits form to IIS server. 3rd-party server plugin is invoked to create an Excel spreadsheet, based on the values captured from the submitted form. IIS sends the .xls file back to the client, and Excel opens up on client's PC with the new spreadsheet. (Not sure if Excel opens up inside the browser or as a separate running program.)

Did I dream this, or is this possible? Is there a product(s) that does this?

Hope so, I can really use it!
TIA
