EXCEL SPREADSHEET OPENS SLOW

I have an excel spreadsheet that has quite a few worksheets in it (approximately 120) that needs to calculate. Is there anyway to open this spreadsheet any faster? And is there a procedure that makes a calculation run faster?

Did you try Tools>Options>Calculation Tab, and choose " Manual".
This way when you open your workbook the calculations won't be done, and it opens faster.
When you want the calculations to proceed, just hit F9
