EXCEL - Searching for matching information

I have 2 spreadsheets of several thousand rows. In one sheet I have a product code column (sorted ascending) and a unit price column.
In the other sheet there is a product code column (not sorted). I need to search the product code in the 1st sheet for a match with the 2nd sheet and get the relevant unit price to a new column in the second sheet.

Try the LOOKUP (vector) function. It'll allow you to do what you need to accomplish.
