Excel Save As option has disappeared

(Note : this issue is for a single user, it is not global)

Up until a couple of days ago, in the History list for a report run in Excel format, clicking on the time/date stamp of a successful instance would bring up the dialog box with the option to Open or Save As. Today, this action opens the report instead of showing the dialog box. This may be one of the settings in Preferences but we could not identify one that would apply.

Can anyone tell us how to get the dialog box to appear again?
