I have 4 dropdown boxes (cells A1, B1, C1, D1) each with two rows of dropdown selections (" ", "UseThisOne"). I want to prevent the user from selecting "UseThisOne" in more than 1 cell. If the user selects "UseThisOne" in A1, I want to run a macro (for example) that inputs " " in B1, C1, D1.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,

What kind of control -- Control Toolbox, Forms, Data/Validation?

Why not use a group of Option Buttons. They can be made to operate mutually exclusive - only ONE can be true.

Thanks. Wouldn't have thought of it.
