I have been using Excel to follow my portfolio for several years. I update monthly. Suddenly I noticed that commas and periods were reversed. For example the number one thousand appears 1.000. The price of a stock of 52.75 appears 52,75. I have tried both Excel 97 and Excel 2000 but still have the same problem. I have tried every type of formatting I know with no solution. Any suggestions would be more than welcome.
