I have five spreadsheets that were exported from a query in MS Access. After exporting, I saved all of them in the "real" Excel 95 format.
Because the data is regularly recreated, and must go out in Excel, I thought to use a seperate workbook with the correct formatting and link each new generation of an exported query to it by using the same file name. I tried to then copy the spreadsheets, and paste link them to a totally to the "master" spreadsheet and I got the message "unable to paste link"
Has anyone experienced this before, and is there a way around it? : Deb Koplen
