Hi All

I'm making a very basic, quick quiz in excel, and was wondering how I can remove the autofill/autocomplete function. I've distributed a previous quiz to users, but as soon as they put the first character of the answer into their answerbox, the rest of the answer fills automatically...

How I can remove this? I've seen quizzes where this has not happened

Cheers

Hi,

Tools/Option - Edti tab - uncheck Enable AutoComplete

would that remove it on other machines aswell?

No. You would have to write a macro to do that.

Turn on your macro recorder and record doing it. Call from the Workbook_Open event.
