Excel question: can I 'transport' vba with a worksheet?

Hi everybody!

This question acctualy is not mine (it's from a colleague).
He wants to know if it's possible to 'pack' the hole VBA-stuff in an Excel 97 worksheet in order to be able to run it on machines where Excel is installed without VBA (I don't even know if it's possible to install Excel 97 without VBA).

I think this is a really wired question, isn't it? X-)

You may want to look into packaging the workbook as an add-in. There should be plenty of info in the help files on this. One important note is that once you compile the workbook, you can't decompile it for modifications. It overwrites the original file (at least it used to). Always save a backup copy before playing with this function.
