Hi, I've just been upgraded to a Windows 7 machine, from one with XP running Excel2003.
One of my main workbooks gets lots of warnings when trying to save to an xlsm type under Excel 2010.
I'm slowing working through them, however there is worksheet that I'm getting an error on that's driving me nuts.
I'm taking the workbook 1 sheet at a time and copying to a new workbook in order to test things in isolation.

So when trying to copy one sheet to book3

I get a pop up saying...
'A formula you want to move or copy contains the name 21__MWW which conflicts with a valid range reference or a name used internally by Excel 2010 and must be modified'

I don't have an formulas so what gives?
I've even deleted everyting on the worksheet to no avail.

the name
[tt]
21__MWW
[/tt]
is an ILLEGAL range name.

It can be 'corrected' thusly...
[tt]
_21__MWW
[/tt]

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]

Skip, where does this name exist though, and how would I rename it?

Thanks
