Excel Printing

I have a document but cannot print even after selecting the print area, an error appears saying that not document was found. I end up opening a new W/sheet, copy the stuff there and I will print, why is this so? This is in Excel, I'm using Office XP.

Pls help.

If you can print from other Windows applications your installation of Excell might be screwed up or no printer has been selected to print the job.
