I have a worksheet that has the print area and layout that appear to be correct in the print preview (landscape). However, when I go to print, it prints in portrait. The print settings are set to print the print area by 1 page wide and in landscape mode. When it prints it is in portrait and cuts off the last few columns.

I have run into several print drivers that do not automatically update the print mode (portrait/landscape) Your print driver may require you to change the mode manually in Excel. To do this use the printers properties option and change the page layout there. This has worked 100% of the time for me. It is a hassle but the work around is easy. You may also want to try downloading an updated print driver. This may solve the problem of having to change the payout manually.

Good luck Mahalo,
cg
