I cannot seem to figure out a formula or code to perform the following:

eg.

Worksheet1 has cells A2, A4, and A7 populated.
I want the information in A2, A4, and A7 to populate cells C1, C2, and C3 in worksheet2.

I dont want the cells from worksheet1 to be assigned to a specific cell in worksheet2....only a specific column; thus, creating a list on worksheet2 each time I populate a specific column in worksheet1.

make sense?

hi,

Your question indicates that you are a novice in Excel and other spreadsheet applications, and that's okay: we ALL were there once before. ;-)

What you want to do CAN be done as you have described, but your questions would be like you asking your auto mechanic how you could keep air in your tires by carrying a bottle of air in the trunk. There is probably a better way to accomplish that objective!!!

Please tell us exactly WHAT you want to accomplish, rather than HOW you think it ought to be done.

Skip,

[glasses]Just traded in my old subtlety...
for a NUANCE![tongue]
