Can data be listed in a pivot table instead of performing a calculation like count or sum?

Thanks
MJ

Hi,

Drag into a ROW or COLUMN field.

Skip,

Don't take a [red]FIFTH[/red] on the [red]THIRD[/red]
Or you might not come [red]FORTH[/red] on the [red]FIFTH[/red]
[red][highlight blue]FORTH[/highlight][/red][white][highlight red]WITH[/highlight][/white] [tongue][/sub]

I'm trying to create a matrix and thought I might be able to use a pivot table to do it. I have a table with a list of names, their level, their position. With the levels across the top and the postions to the left, I was hoping the pivot table would populate the data area with the names that match the level and position.

Thanks.
MJ

You will need to use a lookup for the matrix data.

A PT will not work.
