Hi

I've created a pivot table and need to change the colors of the Bar Chart that is produced from the Pivot Table data.

This I can do easily enough, but every time I take a different view of the data using the pivot drop downs, the colous change back to default!

Any ideas?

You can change default chart colours (workbook level): Tools>Options>Colour tab.

Hi,

I hardly ever use PivotTable Charts. I love PivotTables, but the PT Chart feature seems so utterly restrictive to me, that I always opt for other means of summarizing my chart data and use the Excel Chart Wizard.

Other means of summarizing chart data include, but are not limited to...

1. MS Query
2. Aggregation Functions.

I make interactive charts, driving them from one of more Forms Controls, usually a Drop Down.
